Christmas is probably my favourite time of year (apart from it being so bloody cold) and visiting the Christmas Market in Princes Street gardens is a tradition. This year Yvonne and I took her little one who had an absolute blast although I think we enjoyed ourselves more than he did!
It’s not all about the alcohol – Yvonne and I ate a ridiculous amount of food in a short space of time! Was rather disappointed by the churros that weren’t actually churros, more like doughy doughnuts.
We didn’t actually go on the big wheel although I usually do. We visited the market on a Thursday afternoon and while the atmosphere was lost somewhat with it still being light outside, the fact that the kids were still in school made the whole trip much calmer than in previous years.
I’ll definitely be going back for another visit, perhaps this time without children so we can go on the bigger rides and drink ALOT more alcohol.
