It is getting to that time of year again when we have to start thinking about winter wardrobes. My current wardrobe consists of very little knitwear and this is due to me being a
slightly rather “curvy” girl. But with designers belting their knitwear on the AW 12 catwalks I feel better prepared for facing my least favourite seasons. But at least if I invest in some knitwear soon I’ll have something to layer over my many dresses. At present I only own about 5 cardigans and the majority are black but since I’ve started blogging I feel more confident wearing and mixing prints so the majority of knitwear that I’ve been looking at is printed.
Red lipstick jumper to match my MAC Russian Red lipstick ❤ this!
Basic but a classic
Red and navy are one of my favourite colour combos
I like the ombre effect of this plus the colours are a change from the earthy autumn tones usually seen
Love the print and exposed zips on this
With a jacket/coat on this looks like a plain sweater but the printed sleeves add a “younger” touch
The Gap knitwear I’ve owned in the past has been such good quality it’s lasted for years
Unicorns are kind of an “in” joke with Yvonne, Carla and myself so I absolutely adore this sweater! I don’t think the colour would do much for me otherwise I’d buy this ASAP.
I first spied and fell in love with this cardigan several weeks ago. It’s usually £38 but it’s currently 20% off so I’m gonna have to snap this up quick. It feels sober soft and will add a touch of “me” to a more basic outfit.
If I bought this it would probably be the only time I’d ever own anything by Jonathan Saunders!
It’s not just jumpers and cardigans I’ve been lusting after: knitted dresses and skirts are also chic for Autumn/Winter
While Gap do have some lovely cashmere dresses I’d rather not shell out £130 for a sweater dress which is most likely going to get rained on!
This is quite basic but could be dressed in a million different ways. This colour is always a favourite of mine for Autumn/Winter
The paisley print is pretty sweet
Knit dresses are ever so versatile and this grey number could be funked up with coloured/printed tights
Do you favour printed knitwear? Have I missed any cool cardigans?
